My reaction
Concept: The Lord of the Flies... in Space!
Story: Points off for the writer's unfamiliarity with the concept of science.
Characters:
Dialog: How many times can you say "Bonk bonk, on the head" before I go "bonk bonk" on the TV screen with my shoe?
Pacing:
Cinematography:
Special effects/design: Although, it's a little annoying that a character that's meant to be prepubescent has big, bushy sideburns.
Acting:
Music:
Subjective Rating: 7/10 (Good, ). It's one of the most iconic episodes, thanks to the great premise (well, it's a great premise as long as you ignore the first five minutes of the show). Sadly, it's also very obnoxious in places. A gang of unruly children sounds a lot better on paper than it does screaming through your television.
