My reaction
Concept:
Story:
Characters: Bonus point for Dobby.
Dialog: There are some very funny lines in there, but also a lot of crap.
Pacing:
Cinematography:
Special effects/design: The special effects aren't as bad as the first movie, but they're still bad, and there's not much in the way of design to balance them out this time.
Acting: There's no bad acting, and Rupert Grint gives a pretty entertaining performance, but there's still not quite anything I'd call good acting.
Music:
Subjective Rating: 7/10 (Good, ). After re-watching this one, I realize that what's missing from the first movie is a sense of humor. That one was just a fairy tale, while this one is an adventure comedy; a handful of good laughs here and there go a long way to making it fun to watch.
