Synopsis: an interplanetary archaeologist has a secret discovery

My reaction
Concept: I love the ruins-of-an-advanced-civilization set-up (although the fact that it seems to exist entirely in one small cave is a bit odd...). And it's got an interesting look at the nature of identity, too.
Story:
Characters:
Dialog: "Yes... yes, I had forgotten, but I remember now."
Pacing: Great for the most part, but then there's the Rotating Kirk scene that just... keeps... going...
Cinematography:
Special effects/design: I was going to take a point off for the stalactite, but that's not fair. No special effects can make a stalactite seem real when somebody has to break it off of the ceiling with his bare hands. Plus, the costume design is fun: not only a shirtless Space Babe, but also an alien monster with flowery ruffles! (Who's to say flowery ruffles aren't tough and intimidating where he comes from?)

Subjective Rating: 8/10 (Great, ). Lots to like in this one (not least of which is a particularly clever and quick-witted Kirk), and not much to dislike.
