My reaction
Concept:
Story: He shows up, sneaks around, then beats everyone up. That's the whole story.
Characters:
Dialog:
Pacing: I'd guess the fight scenes to take up about 30 minutes of the movie; if that's right, then there's no reason for the movie to be longer than, say, 35 minutes. Seriously, though, it's badly edited (except for the fight scenes, which are great) and feels very long.
Cinematography:
Special effects/design: Visually, there's some greatness. The sound is terrible.
Acting:
Music: Fun.
Subjective Rating: 7/10 (Good, ). Bruce Lee is totally awesome, and everything he did on this movie (such as the fight choreography) is great. It's frustrating, though, that he's wasted on a movie that would otherwise be shit.
Objective Rating (Average):
... I think I'm thinking of the movie where Chuck Norris is the guest-star bad guy.
ReplyDeleteIs this the movie with the pointless, long zoom-in and closeup of a kitten in the middle of a fight scene? Or is that one of the sequels to Enter the Dragon?
ReplyDeleteThat's Way of the Dragon, never mind.
ReplyDeleteThere is a cat in this one, though. The bad guy puts his cat on a guillotine and is all, "so what do you think of that?"
