Synopsis: a British prince has a crippling stutter

My reaction
Concept: A period drama about royalty, AND an inspiring, based-on-a-true-story tale of triumph? Sounds like crap to me. Then again, it's also the story of a very likable person who just wants to be left alone, which is nice.
Story: It's a corny plot, but it's handled reasonably well - could have been a lot worse.
Characters:
Dialog: Tries too hard to be funny. Not that the humor isn't welcome when it works.

Special effects/design: Very nice to look at. Wonderful sets.
Acting:
Music: Good music, but overbearing. I mean, Beethoven's 7th over the climax? Really?
Subjective Rating: 7/10 (Good, ). Might have been a mediocre and obvious period drama, rescued by great performances.
