Synopsis: a teenager has mind powers

My reaction
Concept: I don't think I'll ever understand the obsession certain classic science fiction writers had with god-like powers. The dramatic possibilities are pretty damned few.
Story: It starts out with a lot of potential: a boy is found at a dead space colony, apparently alone since a very young age. But the magical wizard powers show up pretty quickly: the crew is helpless, the boy is omnipotent, and we're pretty much just waiting around for the deus ex machina to show up and set things back to normal for next week.
