Length: 62 minutes
Director: Louis Feuillade
Writer: Louis Feuillade, based on the novel by Marcel Allain & Pierre Souvestre

Music: stock music (Kino DVD version)
I saw it: on video (rented from Greencine), a couple days ago
Synopsis: an infamous criminal continues to evade the police

My reaction
Concept:3/4 (Good)
Story:1/4 (Bad) Just as dumb as the first movie, and this time it's hard to follow in places.
Characters:1/4 (Bad)
Dialog:1/4 (Bad)
Pacing:2/4 (Indifferent)
Cinematography:2/4 (Indifferent) Still just static shots, but this time they're set up with a sense of artfulness.
Special effects/design:3/4 (Good)
Acting:2/4 (Indifferent)
Music:3/4 (Good)
Subjective Rating: 6/10 (Okay, 2/4 (Indifferent)). A little better than the first one, thanks to the footage of 1913 Paris. There's something nice about seeing a movie that was filmed in a time and place when policemen wielded swords and motorpilots wore goggles.
Objective Rating (Average):2/4 (Indifferent)
