My reaction
Concept: If your three heroes have to wrap up all the show's problems with a neat bow in under fifty minutes, please do not put them up against something that's stumped entire worlds across centuries.

Special effects/design: Where things look like crap, it's really the fault of the writing. I mean, flying amoebas look like crap - no way around it.
Acting: Shatner's bad, but Nimoy's pretty good for a change.

Subjective Rating: 7/10 (Good, ). A frustrating mix of good, exciting bits and campy, bad-science bits.
