One of the better stories, but not a particular favorite of mine. It's the first appearance of the Sontarans, which look completely absurd but are one of the more cleverly thought out creatures in the show.
In retrospect, the Sontarans look a little daft wearing sleeping bags... But, that's part of the joy of Doctor Who, and the Sontarans *are* one of the better realised 'monsters' of their era.
ReplyDeleteWasn't quite convinced by the 5'4" Sontarans last year; though, as nice as their costumes were, I found it a bit difficult to take them seriously as arch-warmongers when they were *that* short!
