Synopsis: Kirk is out of phase with reality, space infects with rage, and some aliens spin a web

My reaction
Concept:0/4 (Terrible) Three completely unrelated ideas, not one of which quite makes sense on its own, tossed together without even an attempt at connecting them.
Story:1/4 (Bad)
Characters:2/4 (Indifferent) Huge missed opportunity. I don't know if Bones is just poorly written, or if he's supposed to be infected with rage, but either way he doesn't make sense.
Dialog:2/4 (Indifferent)
Pacing:3/4 (Good)
Cinematography:2/4 (Indifferent)
Special effects/design:4/4 (Great)
Acting:2/4 (Indifferent)
Music:4/4 (Great)
Subjective Rating: 6/10 (Okay, 2/4 (Indifferent)). There never is any explanation or resolution for... anything. Yeah, they get Kirk back, and find a treatment for the symptoms of space-rabies, but there's not even a little curiosity about the how or the why of things.
Objective Rating (Average):2.2/4 (Okay)
