Data

Synopsis: thugs mistake a boring suburban couple for blackmailers

My reaction
Concept:0/4 (Terrible)
Story:1/4 (Bad)
Characters:3/4 (Good) They are instantly likable, which is saying something considering that it is both an action comedy and a romantic comedy - both genres usually guaranteed to feature horrible douchebags.
Dialog:3/4 (Good)
Pacing:3/4 (Good)
Cinematography:2/4 (Indifferent)
Special effects/design:3/4 (Good)
Acting:3/4 (Good)
Music:2/4 (Indifferent)
Subjective Rating: 7/10 (Good, 3/4 (Good)). Wow, I was really not expecting to like this. I mean, nothing's hilariously funny, but everything's fun and entertaining (with the exception of one prolonged car chase). Likable characters go a long way to making comedy work. Too bad not enough comics have caught on to that.
Objective Rating (Average):2.3/4 (Okay)
