My reaction
Concept:4/4 (Great) City of Ember in Space.
Story:2/4 (Indifferent) You're sick, Bones? No known cure in all the galaxy, you say? Don't worry, I'm sure the next people we come across will just happen to have the cure.
Characters:3/4 (Good)
Dialog:2/4 (Indifferent)
Pacing:2/4 (Indifferent)
Cinematography:2/4 (Indifferent)
Special effects/design:4/4 (Great)
Acting:2/4 (Indifferent)
Music:4/4 (Great)
Subjective Rating: 7/10 (Good, 3/4 (Good)). They manage to avoid some of the worst tropes expected of the Society Run By A Computer genre of Star Trek episode. Instead the focus is on character-driven conflict, which is a nice change. Sadly, the characters aren't done particularly well and have no satisfying resolution.
Objective Rating (Average):2.8/4 (Good)
