Acting: Is it possible to act well when none of your character's relationships make sense?
Music: The score is excellent. The songs are crap, aren't sung particularly well, and rarely fit in context.
Subjective Rating: 5/10 (Indifferent, ). Apart from some nice mid-century visuals here and there, nothing in this movie serves any purpose but to hang musical numbers off of. Only a few of those numbers are memorable, although it's more often for their awkward strangeness than for their quality.
