My reaction
Concept: I know, the gladiator thing has been done a few times already, but the set up for this one is quite nice. Very Doctor Who-ish.

Subjective Rating: 7/10 (Good, ). I wish the alien didn't have mind-control powers. This could have been a really great episode if the characters had been able to behave reasonably, and if they're paranoia and prejudices had been natural and at all subtle. And, of course, if there wasn't a being with god-like powers involved. But at least the alien didn't reveal itself to have been testing them all along.
