Pretty terrible. The writing is painfully bad, which is particularly annoying given how good the overall plot of the show is. The special effects are pretty good, although the look of everything is shamelessly ripped off of Star Wars. I love a lot of bad science fiction, but this is barely watchable. Strictly heckling value only. I only forced myself to get through it because I don't want to watch the new series without seeing the original first.
