Subjective Rating: 8/10 (Great, ). Once you get past the horrible anthropology (that's at the center of every single "primitive cultures" episode of Star Trek), there's a surprisingly powerful story.  Incidentally, notice that the guns with which Kirk is so obsessed have zero effect on anything, and are repeatedly demonstrated to provide no strategic advantage over sticks and rocks; I don't know whether this was deliberate by the writers, but probably not.
