My reaction
Concept:2/4 (Indifferent)
Story:3/4 (Good)
Characters:3/4 (Good)
Dialog:3/4 (Good)
Pacing:3/4 (Good)
Cinematography:2/4 (Indifferent)
Special effects/design:4/4 (Great)
Acting:3/4 (Good)
Music:4/4 (Great)
Subjective Rating: 8/10 (Great, 4/4 (Great)). The "Moby Dick in Space" idea had a lot of potential to go wrong, but they handle it surprisingly well. Judging from how rarely it's done, it must have been difficult to pull off this sort of character-driven story back in the days of put-everything-back-the-way-you-found-it-by-the-end-of-the-episode TV.
Objective Rating (Average):3.1/4 (Very good)
