"The Policemen's Little Run"

"The Policemen's Little Run" (short), 1907. A crowd of bumbling cops chases a dog.

Directed by Ferdinand Zecca. Written by André Heuzé.

Concept: 2/4 (Indifferent)
Story: 2/4 (Indifferent). Very simple (and simple-minded), but it works.
Characters: 1/4 (Bad)
Dialog: n/a
Pacing: 2/4 (Indifferent)
Cinematography: 3/4 (Good)
Special effects/design: 3/4 (Good)
Acting: 1/4 (Bad)
Music: 2/4 (Indifferent)
Subjective Rating: 6/10 (Okay, 2/4). I enjoyed this a lot more than I should have. It's so very dumb, there's no slapstick, and none of the gags are really funny. But it's amusing anyway. I guess I like clowns?
Objective Rating (Average): 2.0/4 (Indifferent)
