Subjective Rating: 3/10 (Bad, ). Very probably The Worst character writing in all of Star Trek. Which is very frustrating, since the basic ideas of the characters have a lot of potential. It's also slightly frustrating that the episode isn't ultimately about the immortal guy - which would have been a novel concept - but instead focuses on his robotics science project, which we've seen in multiple previous episodes. But that's not really important, because oh my god why is Kirk hopelessly in love with someone he just met?
